Service Fees
- Your commission rates and any relevant subscription fees will be provided in your confirmation email.
Event Management
- The management of the event itself must be carried out by the Venue. Public Space responsibility ends once the booking is confirmed, and the e-introduction takes place
- After a booking is confirmed, the Venue is responsible for contacting the Customer to finalise event details and logistics
- The Venue must provide beverage, staff, an event manager, and anything else required for the event itself, unless the Venue is a dry hire venue, in which case only access to the Venue equipment and the Venue itself, is required
Training & Setup
- Staff & Management must be trained to ensure the following:–
- Any pricing discussions initiated by the customer must be redirected to Public Space. In the event that they are not, then any resulting costs may be charged back to the venue
- Any subsequent events for a Customer previously booked by Public Space must be redirected to Public Space. If the Venue or Customer circumvents Public Space to book a space, Public Space reserves the right to collect their fee from the Venue and/or cancel, suspend or terminate your account with Public Space.
- The Venue must make the space available for photography and videographer session and setup the space as it would be for an event
Calendar Share / Sync
- It is the responsibility of the Venue to inform Public Space of any unavailable dates for booking. Otherwise, Public Space will assume the spaces are available for all dates and will book them. If the Venue fails to inform Public Space of unavailability resulting in a booking being cancelled, the Venue will be liable for the cost of rearranging that booking with another venue
- If any rescheduling of the event takes place between the Customer and the Venue, Public Space must be notified via email or via a calendar syncing update.
Minimum Spends
- It is the responsibility of the Venue to take all necessary precautions to ensure the Customer meets their Minimum Spend obligation, directly with the Customer. For example, taking Customer Payment Card details at the start of the event, and arranging contracts directly with the Customer after the Booking has been confirmed.
Event Cancellations
- The Venue must make every reasonable effort to ensure they have Key Personnel backups so event bookings can go ahead. There should be no key man dependency for an event. If multiple staff are off sick, then Public Space must be informed immediately, and every effort must be made to acquire temporary staff so that the event can still go ahead. Public Space may be able to assist with finding support staff in urgent cases
- Any event cancellation at the behest of the Venue must not be for any reason other than Force Majeure.
Cancellation on behalf of the Venue will incur the following charges:
• 6 Months or more prior to the event date £500
• Within 3 Months of the event date £1,000
• Within 30 days of the event date £4,000
